Dirk van Duijvenbode is heading towards the top 20 in the updated PDC Order of Merit after his maiden ranking success.
Van Duijvenbode claimed a title and reached a final on Day Four at the PDC Super Series in Niedernhausen which saw him bag £16,000.
As well as moving up five places in the Order of Merit in a year where he has nothing to defend so it will be all gains for the Aubergenius.
He recaptured his Tour Card at the start of 2020 and will not defend his results from 2019 as a result. Since the World Grand Prix finalist has already qualified for most TV tournaments and with ranking money falling off for those around him, a top 16 berth could occur this year.
Peter Wright despite not playing in Niedernhausen is back into the World Number Two spot after more money has fallen off the two year ranking for Michael van Gerwen.
This will likely see a back and forth for this second spot with both players having money coming off for in particular European Tour events which aren't being held at the moment.
Martijn Kleermaker is another Dutchman though who has made a rise further into the top 64 after his run to the final at the Super Series.
Kleermaker lost eventually to Van Duijvenbode but is now into 59th spot in the PDC Order of Merit and with his run to the final will likely cement a World Championship and Players Championship Finals spot which could prove pivotal in avoiding potentially losing his Tour Card.
Two players from this year's Q-School class though also made rises with Scott Mitchell up to 86th moving up five places and Raymond van Barneveld up two places to 86th despite only playing two days in Germany.
