Wright overtakes Van Gerwen on provisional PDC Order of Merit

Thanks to his latest ranking title this past weekend he has secured his spot but he won’t enjoy it for long.

With ranking titles coming off once more from March 2019 next week, Michael van Gerwen without playing will regain his spot.

There was one other change in the top 10 of the world rankings. Nathan Aspinall has regained his place. That was at the expense of Daryl Gurney, who is now in twelfth place.

Gabriel Clemens heads further up the Order of Merit into 26th as he continues his progression. Scott Mitchell makes his debut in the top 100 of the PDC Order of Merit.

The former Lakeside champion had a good week at the PDC Super Series with £ 6,250 in prize money earned. As a result, Mitchell jumped to 91st.
