Van Duijvenbode won 7-6 over Daryl Gurney after an exciting battle. All legs went with the darts, after both darters missed quite a few chances to force a break. With a 14-darter in the thirteenth leg, Van Duijvenbode finished it off.
In the other semi-final, Chisnall beat Ross Smith, who was 3-1 down, but then lost three legs in a row. Via an 11-darter in the eleventh leg the victory went 7-4 to 'Chizzy'.
