Dirk van Duijvenbode will be in action this weekend at the
Belgian Darts Open in Wieze as normal despite a knee injury.
Van Duijvenbode had an ugly fall on stage last weekend when he was dancing during his walk-on. The 30-year-old Dutchman immediately felt something was wrong. "I fear damage to my meniscus or posterior cruciate ligament. The day after, I was running all the time puking in pain," he noted.

Nevertheless, Van Duijvenbode will make his appearance in Belgium this weekend. In his opening match, 'Aubergenius', who will play with a brace, will take on the winner of the first-round duel between Raymond van Barneveld and James Wade on Saturday night.
