With more ranking money coming off the PDC Order of Merit due to European Tour events which of course have not began this year, this has played into Michael van Gerwen's favour.
Van Gerwen currently sits as World Number Three but with the 2019 European Darts Grand Prix falling off the rankings, Wright who lost in the final will see £10,000 disappear as he goes below the million pound mark.
This puts him down to £995,000 compared to £942,000 for Van Gerwen with the Super Series potentially proving pivotal for 'Snakebite' to pull away further again.
While Ian White saw his winners' money fall off from this event so he is down towards 15th in the Order of Merit with Joe Cullen only £1,000 away exactly at the moment.
Daryl Gurney gains as a result, while Luke Humphries is into the top 32 at the expense of Brendan Dolan with the likes of Vincent van der Voort (27th), Jamie Hughes (29th), Jeffrey de Zwaan (30th) all inside the top 32 going down one spot.
