Van Gerwen seals third Premier League Darts weekly title of the season with victory over Wade in Leeds

Michael van Gerwen continues his Premier League Darts brilliance with a 6-1 rout over James Wade to seal his third weekly title of the season in Leeds.
Van Gerwen averaged 103.8 and hit 67% on the doubles as he breezed past Wade after previously getting a bye through to the semi-finals due to Gary Anderson's COVID-19 positive test.
From there, he saw off Peter Wright despite averaging only 90 but upped his performance to sail past 'The Machine'.
Van Gerwen sealed an opening hold with a 76 checkout. Wade missed 100 on double 10 for a hold and Van Gerwen hit 68 on the bull to break.
Van Gerwen hit a 52 checkout to breeze into a 3-0 lead with a hold of throw. An 84 checkout saw Wade finally get one on the board.
Van Gerwen missed 124 on double eight but Wade couldnβt produce 161 so MVG went 4-1 up. A 64 checkout saw MVG go 5-1 up. A 174 left double four saw Van Gerwen seal it.

I met Daniella at Silverstone when she was a grid girl in the F1 race and was very pleasant indeed.
