Fallon Sherrock couldn’t fully hide her disappointment after bowing out of the 2026 PDC World Darts Championship against Dave Chisnall (0-3), but still found a moment of perspective at Alexandra Palace. The English star subtly alluded afterwards to the much-discussed incident involving her ex-boyfriend Cameron Menzies.
Against Chisnall, Sherrock was unable to mount a genuine upset bid. The Englishman capitalized on missed doubles and moved into the next round without dropping a set. For Sherrock, it meant another early exit in London.
She nevertheless provided a striking moment afterwards. As she walked to her table, Sherrock placed her hand on it and gently wobbled it. Many in the crowd immediately recognized the gesture as a nod to Menzies’ outburst earlier this week.
Cameron Menzies drew negative headlines earlier in the week after his loss to Charlie Manby (2-3). The Scot was beaten in the deciding set and let his frustrations boil over afterwards by striking the small table holding his water. Footage quickly spread on social media and sparked mixed reactions.
Scott Williams had already played along in cheeky fashion by checking before his own match whether the table was still intact. After her own elimination, Sherrock went a step further by parodying the incident.

Public apology from Menzies

Menzies responded shortly after his exit with a public statement explaining his behavior and offering an apology. “I want to apologize for what happened. It’s not an excuse, but I’ve had a lot on my mind and apparently it all came out at the end of the match,” he wrote.
The Scot added that he is going through a difficult time. Four days before his Worlds match, his uncle passed away, which Menzies said weighed heavily on him during the tournament.
The organization also responded to the incident. PDC chief executive Matt Porter said Menzies would not be left to deal with it alone. “I spoke with Cameron and his management before he left the World Championship, and he knows that support is available from the PDC and the players’ union.”
At the same time, the matter is not closed. The Darts Regulation Authority will review the incident and assess whether further steps or sanctions are necessary.
