During a light-hearted interview at the US Darts Masters in New York, Gerwyn Price, Luke Humphries, Gian van Veen, and Jonny Clayton were put to the test with a deceptively simple challenge. The interviewer gave the start signal with “Go,” after which the players had to indicate when they thought exactly three seconds had passed by saying “Stop.”

Jonny Clayton was first to take a seat. Even before the challenge really began, he jokingly asked the interviewer whether he was going to be stitched up. The interviewer reassured him, but Clayton’s suspicion turned out not to be entirely unfounded.
Next up was Gerwyn Price. After the start signal, he counted down the time in his head and said “Stop” at exactly the right moment. His judgment proved remarkably accurate. When it became clear he had gauged the three seconds almost perfectly, the Welshman looked visibly pleased.
Jonny Clayton then had another surprise to deal with. The interviewer first led him to believe his timing was excellent, only for it to turn out to be a prank. Clayton laughed it off in the end, though he jokingly warned the interviewer not to make him swear on camera.

“It was fake. Sorry, mate”

Gian van Veen was fooled as well. At first, it seemed as though he had delivered a perfect attempt. The Dutchman said he had already gotten excited by the interviewer’s reaction. “I was so gassed, you looked at me like wow how did you do that” Van Veen said. Not long after came the reveal: he too had fallen victim to the same joke. "It was fake, sorry mate."

The clip ends with another attempt, by which point Humphries clearly wary. "You're pranking me there's no way," Humphries says with a laugh.
