Throwing a nine-darter remains the pinnacle of darts for many players. But who has thrown the most nine darts on TV tournaments?

In the history of the sport, 72 nine-darters have been thrown on TV tournaments to date, including 70 since 2002. Whilst only 32 different players have thrown a perfect leg on a televised event.

In the video below, Paul Nicholson gives the top five players with the most nine-darters and says which one he believes to have been the best. Phil Taylor is of course in the conversation with no less than eleven nine-darters, including two in the same match (2010 Premier League final against James Wade).
