England saw off Brazil to reach the second round at the
World Cup of Darts but it wasn't the side of
James Wade and Dave Chisnall at their best.
Wade spoke afterwards and he put it down to nerves and representing his country again after an absence of over 10 years for 'The Machine'.
"I was lucky Dave (Chisnall) did the right things at the right times and got me out of there. I hadn't been so nervous for a long long time and it was not an enjoyable experience," said Wade on Sky Sports.
"It's not the shirt, it's what you're representing."
While Chisnall also discussed the lack of rhythm in pairs as a real factor.
"It feels good, the darts weren't the best tonight but we'll learn, we'll live. I was nervous because I've got the shirt on for England but pairs is always hard to play because you don't get your rhythm," said Chisnall.
