Ricardo Pietreczko powered past Callan Rydz with to become the fourth German player alongside Martin Schindler, Gabriel Clemens and Florian Hempel to book their spot post Christmas.
'Pikachu's win was labelled a shock by some, but given his superb season winning a European Tour and being one of the best in the world at times. It is less of a shock than the rankings suggest.
"It means very much for me. It was a very difficult game because Callan is a very strong player. I'm very happy," said Pietreczko post match. "My finishing is one of the best in the world."
Next up is Luke Humphries for 'Pikachu' and he goes in with no game plan barring trying to win and on that brilliant run for German darts, he doesn't see why the Clemens semi-final run can't turn into one of the four claiming the title.
"My plan is that it's open like every one in this tournament and I try to beat him.
"It's really good to see a German player reach the semi-final and why not this year. Why not the champion. I try my best (to be that champion)."
