Williams hit 117 average against Burnett, set to face Sherrock in Last 16 at PDC Challenge Tour Five

The Last 16 line-up is set up in the fifth PDC Challenge Tour event and among the ties include Lewy Williams against Fallon Sherrock.

Williams, who made a big impression at the UK Open showed just how well he can play by seeing off former Lakeside World Champion, Richie Burnett 5-1 with a stunning 117 average.

He will now face Sherrock who continued her run with victory over Wes Newton 5-2 which came after she defeated Perry Davenport 5-1 with a 110 average.

With both players seemingly towards the top of their games, it could be a brilliant tie. Also through include the likes of Scott Mitchell who will aim to stretch his lead at the top of the Challenge Tour Order of Merit and assure himself of at least a Tour Card.

Kevin Painter is also playing well and will take on 'Scotty Dog' after defeating Ian Plumb 5-3. Jim Williams eased past Cody Harris also 5-0 and will face Nick Fullwell in another of the top ties in the Last 16.

Reserve spots for the 2020 Pro Tour and Tour Cards for 2021 and 2022 can be earned on this tour. The highest placed players on the PDC Challenge Tour Order of Merit are eligible for the reserve spots at the Players Championships.

The numbers one and two on the Challenge Tour ranking will be offered a PDC Tour Card at the end of the season for the two subsequent seasons.
