Peter Wright claimed two extremely important points in the Premier League Darts on Friday evening by beating leader Glen Durrant.
Wright is now on eighteen points after fifteen games. Due to his good leg balance (+15), a draw against Michael Smith on Saturday would be enough to qualify for the play-offs.
The Scot broke Durrant with a 13-darter for a break in the seventh leg. Snakebite kept that lead, although it was still exciting in the last leg. He hit double 1 in the 14th leg to make it a 8-6 win for the reigning world champion.
