The 29-year-old showed superb darts, especially at the finishes. Dobey produced a finish percentage of 53 percent and hit five ton plus finishes throughout the game.
Dobey took the first set, before White responded back as he claimed six of the next seven legs to win set two and three. However Hollywood forced a set-decider with an excellent fourth set (12-dart leg and 100 checkout).
The Bedlington ace quickly came ahead in the last set as he threw a 14-dart leg to break White. He doubled his lead with a stunning 156 finish, before hitting a 100 checkout to claim the win.
