Dave Chisnall has reached the semi-finals at the World Grand Prix at the expense of Nathan Aspinall. It's his first semi-final in Dublin since 2016.
The first set seemed to go easily to Chisnall, but Chizzy gave away a 2-0 lead. Aspinall came back to 2-2 and even missed two darts to steal the set. Chisnall received another chance and took this opportunity with a 25 checkout.
With two 14-dart legs and a 12-darter the second set also went to the Englishman. In the third set, Chizzy came 2-1 ahead, but Aspinall managed to reduce the deficit via double 4 and 17-darter.
The Asp did not come closer, because he missed three chances in the second leg of set four to keep his own leg. He was broken by Chisnall, who then took the win with a 17-darter.
