Beau Greaves gains rampant revenge against Aileen de Graaf, reclaims Dutch Open Darts title

After losing out in the 2023 final to Aileen de Graaf in shock fashion given her winning streak at the time, Beau Greaves is a two-time Dutch Open Darts champion.

Greaves claims double success with the two-time WDF World Champion also winning the Women's Pairs alongside Jo Rolls 4-0 this afternoon defeating Lorraine Winstanley and Paige Pauling, the girls champion.

But seeing off De Graaf, she averaged 83 in running out a comfortable 5-1 winner over the Dutchwoman. In setting the final yesterday, she saw off Noa-Lynn van Leuven, Lorraine Hyde and Lerena Rietbergen from the Last 16 onwards to seal a return clash against De Graaf.

She ran into a 4-0 lead against De Graaf with the power scoring of Greaves giving De Graaf minimal chances every leg as she was almost a dart ahead. Greaves only lost one leg ironically on her own throw in a poor gambit from the 20-year-old. But she returned in the following leg with a 140, 138 and finally claimed it after originally missing match darts.

It was first and second colliding and the two favourites for the title clashing, but Greaves is back in the winners' circle as expected. She also won the world's biggest open tournament back in 2022 and stunned also earlier this weekend by hitting three 180's in a row during pairs.
