Women's Draw confirmed for 2022 WDF Lakeside World Championship: De Graaf meets Turner or Suzuki, top seed Hedman to take on Hyde or Kewish

The Women's Draw has been confirmed for the 2022 WDF Lakeside World Championship which will take place at the historic venue at Frimley Green returning for the inaugural edition from April 2-10. The event was originally scheduled to take place in January but has been postponed to the spring due to possible corona measures.

Deta Hedman will aim to add one title which has eluded her previously and as top seed will be one of the favourites. A tough test awaits her though in the second round with Lorraine Hyde or Tori Kewish to face 'The Heart of Darts'.

But the stand-out tie could come from the fourth seed, Aileen de Graaf who will face Laura Turner or the final BDO and two-time World Champion, Mikuru Suzuki. Three-time World Champion, Anastasia Dobromyslova is second seed and faces Paula Jacklin or Rhian O'Sullivan.

While Lorraine Winstanley will take on Vicky Pruim or Desi Mercer aiming to go one better this time around. The draw is in full below ahead of darts return to Lakeside.

There will be no Fallon Sherrock with the Queen of the Palace invited as one of the top seeds but she declined with her upcoming appearance at the PDC World Darts Championship and also Q-School starting the day of the WDF final.

Lisa Ashton will not be there of course as a current PDC Tour Card holder and despite looking likely to lose her Tour Card, she is not qualified for the WDF edition.
