Aussie ace
Kyle Anderson will face either Corey Cadby or Phil Taylor in the final after an inspired performance against an out of sorts
James Wade who despite having the scoring power couldn’t hit the doubles and Kyle punished the Aldershot ace to win 11-4.
Wade made a good start to the leg but Anderson cleaned up 60 to take the opening leg. Wade powered back with D5 despite missed darts at the double. Wade’s set up play was as good as ever but his doubling was poor which allowed Anderson to sneak in and hit D4 for a 2-1 lead.
Anderson found D4 to extend his lead to 3-1 with Wade only 12.5% on the doubles in the early going. ‘The Original’ followed this up with a 180 followed by tops to take a 4-1 lead at the first break with Wade having to ponder how he wasn’t 3 or 4-0 in front.

Wade continued his shoddy double hitting by squandering multiple darts at tops before Anderson hit D8 for a break at 5-1 up. Anderson continued his upward trend to be up 6-1.
Despite a good leg for the Aldershot ace, his doubles hurt him again with Anderson pinning D18 for a 7-1 lead. The Aussie ace continued his domination hitting double top for a 8-1 lead. Anderson showed how good he was by hitting 164 on the bull for a 9-1 lead. The Machine finally stopped the rot by hitting a 118 checkout to get a leg on the board and trail 9-2.

Wade continued his fight back hitting tops again in a 60 checkout to trail 9-3. Anderson back on throw took out 83 on D9 in the following leg to lead 10-3 and be 1 away from the final in Auckland. Anderson had 2 match darts at D8 but squandered them allowing Wade back to hit D10 to make it 10-4. Kyle finally finished it off on 72 to reach his first
World Series Final with Wade losing in the semi-finals for the 3rd straight year!
