2021 Premier League Darts line-up revealed: Nine out of 10 names confirmed with start delayed

The line-up for the 2021 Premier League Darts has been released with nine out of ten names confirmed for the darting roadshow with the final name set to be confirmed after The Masters.

The start as confirmed will be delayed till after Easter with hopefully the Premier League set to host fans when Covid-19 restrictions lifted and fans are allowed back in.

Headlined by the new World Number One and World Champion in Gerwyn Price who will aim to add the coveted trophy to his collection after previous finishes of 10th and two 5th place finishes.

Michael van Gerwen during a barren year which saw him only claim the UK Open and Players Championship Finals as well as failing to reach play-offs night for the first time and his first non winning year since 2014 will aim to reclaim the title.

On the other side to proceedings, Glen Durrant will look to defend his title after victory over Nathan Aspinall who is also confirmed for another year after a brilliant debut foray.

Speaking of debutants as expected, Jose de Sousa and Dimitri van den Bergh will make their debuts after triumphs in the Grand Slam of Darts and the World Matchplay.

While Gary Anderson is also involved after losing out in the final of the World Championship to Gerwyn Price as is Rob Cross who qualifies due to being in the top four currently.

There will also not be any Challengers with the line-up confirmed to be reverted to a 10-player format before the World Championship Final in the major change for this year's weekly tournament.
