The 25th night of action in the PDC Home Tour hasn't disappointed so far with Jose de Sousa and Reece Robinson producing brilliance at the halfway point.
De Sousa produced one of the best performances of the PDC Home Tour so far with a 5-0 whitewash win over Robert Thornton. This saw him hit a 110.5 average, three 180's and 5/8 on the doubles as the previous PDC ranking winner showed his class.
Robinson, a multiple Development Tour winner also showed his prowess against the multiple major champion seeing him off 5-2 also hitting 110 average. Thornton though who hit a 77 average in his previous defeat played his part this time around hitting a 104 average but Robinson produced three 180's and two ton-plus finishes to win it.
This came after an unlucky start for Robinson who came from 4-1 down to force a decider only to miss multiple match darts and Keegan Brown was allowed to edge past him 5-4 as a result.
Every evening, the four players will each face off; with each match being the best of nine legs. This group stage lasts 32 days with that amount of players set to reach the next round to play it out from there to crown a winner.
All players have webcams set up in their houses and say their scores out loud; to make sure that they can be inputted correctly without any cheating taking place.
With each night’s action commencing at 1930 BST, darts commentator Dan Dawson will be on hand to talk through proceedings; which will also include live score graphics on screen.
All PDC Home Tour action will be broadcast live on PDCTV for free to all registered PDCTV users; regardless of whether you have a paid or free membership.
