The second day of action in the PDC Summer Series begins in a few hours with the draw now out for Players Championship 10.

Michael van Gerwen claimed victory on the first day and will aim to win back-to-back titles having not won one since February last year before Wednesday. He will begin though with a potentially tricky test when he takes on William O'Connor - a World Cup finalist and one time ranking winner.

Gary Anderson on the other hand will hope for a better day after being dumped out early by Matt Clark, it doesn't get any easier for the Flying Scotsman as he takes on Max Hopp.

Peter Wright himself reached the final yesterday but couldn't complete a brilliant comeback against Van Gerwen and he starts today against Carl Wilkinson.

Other top ties include Jose de Sousa taking on Chris Dobey, Simon Whitlock vs Scott Mitchell, Dirk van Duijvenbode taking on Darius Labanauskas and a double Dutch affair between Jeffrey de Zwaan and Benito Van de Pas.

Gerwyn Price gets a bye through to the second round immediately after Eddie Lovely who played so well on the opening day had to withdraw for family reasons. 'The Headhunter' Ryan Hogarth is next on the Challenge Tour Order of Merit so will take his place from Friday if he tests negative for COVID-19.
