Gerwyn Price will go for the weekly title later this evening on Night Three of the 2025 Premier League Darts in Dublin. 'The Iceman' made it to the weekly final at the by impressively dealing with Luke Humphries (6-3).
Humphries gained a 2-0 lead early in the match by throwing two 14-darters. However, Price broke back in fine fashion with a 170 finish and then also threw out 70 to make it 2-2. The Welshman continued to finish superbly, firing a 120 finish to break Humphries and take a 3-2 lead. With Humphries trailing by a large margin, a 116 checkout then followed, making it 4-2 for Price.
Humphries narrowed the deficit to 3-4 with a 60 finish, but missed one chance for a rebreak. Price threw out 88 to make it 5-3 before the world number nine won the match with a 17-darter.
In the final, Price will face either Michael van Gerwen or Nathan Aspinall. Van Gerwen won in his first match from Chris Dobey (6-4), while Nathan Aspinall dealt with Rob Cross (6-3). Neither Van Gerwen nor Aspinall was in a weekly final earlier this season.
