Luke Humphries made headlines earlier in the week for once again showcasing himself as a class act. He handed a darts fan an opportunity of a lifetime to go backstage at Premier League Darts in Manchester.

A true money can't buy opportunity for the fan Alex McGarrie who will attend the Premier League with his family and meet the players. Humphries also said that he will get a signed shirt from a player of his choosing. No doubt after getting the gesture, Humphries will hope it is him.
'Cool Hand Luke' explained on this week's Premier League Darts Cardiff Preview Show for talkSPORT why he decided to do it and said that he doesn't want the fan in question to have a negative outlook on life. He said he wants the bullies to sit there jealous while he enjoys the night of his life. Follow the Premier League Darts 2025 via our LIVE SCORE!
After being reached out to, he decided to make a heartwarming gesture via X (formerly Twitter). “I will speak to the PDC this week when in Cardiff and see if we can get him some tickets and a chance to meet all the players in Manchester if that suits? No one likes a bully, hope he’s ok and send him my best wishes.”
"Someone tagged me in something and I read the post about what it was and it was saying he was getting incredibly bullied in a horrible way and had to pull him out of school," said Humphries to talkSPORT Darts.
"I thought to myself I couldn't imagine that happening to me so I knew he liked darts, the best thing to do is to give him something to remember and realise that not all people in the world are bad because that's what he probably feels at the moment that all people are bad and I don't want to grow him to grow up in a way that is negative to anybody in his life.
"We've got him some tickets now for Manchester so we will get him backstage to meet the players and message his dad to say who is his favourite player and we'll get him a signed shirt whoever it may be. He's going to have a night to remember, hopefully all the bullies that will be sat at home that do bully him will hopefully be jealous of it because he's getting to do something that money can't buy. It's nice to give back sometimes and make someone's day.
