Former World Cup of Darts winner John Henderson is set to be make a debut appearance on the World Seniors Darts Tour after accepting an invitation for the World Seniors Darts Matchplay.
Taking place between the 2nd-3rd of September, the World Seniors Darts Matchplay can boast an impressive list of names alongside 'Hendo' such as Phil Taylor, Martin Adams, John Part and Glen Durrant.
Henderson himself has shown some impressive form in 2023 after losing his PDC Tour Card. The former World Gran Prix semi-finalist has emerged victorious on both the MODUS Super Series and the PDC Challenger Tour this year and could be a dark horse to take the title on his WSDT debut.
Billy Lovell of the WSDT said the following. "We are really excited to be taking such a great lineup to the Barbican in York, and we know it will get even better following the qualifying weekend. The first TWO TV tournaments of the year delivered great drama and quality on the oche, and we're sure the JenningsBet World Seniors Matchplay will be no different."
