Now a PDC World Darts Championship sensation but we go back to the second day of the Final Stage of UK Q-School 2025 when Justin Hood secured a PDC Tour Card for the next two years. The 31-year-old Englishman defeated his compatriot Bradley Brooks 6-5 in the final to secure a spot on the Pro Tour for the first time in his career.

Hood, who has been a regular in the Modus Super Series in recent years, spoke to Dan Dawson for the PDC after. "I feel brilliant! It's been a tough day, a lot of 6-5s. I haven't played amazing today, but I done enough to get the wins so I'm over the moon," 'Happy Feet' reflected with a smile. "I'm good in last leg deciders. Win or you're out."
For Hood, this is, as mentioned, the first time in his career that he has captured a PDC Tour Card. "It means a lot to be fair. I'm a lazy player, I could have done this three or four years ago if I was playing more, but I'd just rather not go out. But now, I'm going to put it all into it and be a world champion in three years!" Hood claims determinedly.
Hood, by the way, has a very special dream after getting his Tour Card. "I wanna earn enough money to buy a Chinese resteraunt!" he smiles.
UK Q-School, by the way, continues today with the third day of the Final Stage. A PDC Tour Card is once again up for grabs for the day's winner, while other players can do good business for the Order of Merit. After all, Sunday night, when the final day of Q-School is over, there are still PDC Tour Cards waiting for the top 9 in the UK Q-School Order of Merit.
