Ilagan doubles up with World Championship qualification secured at Philippines Qualifier

Lourence Ilagan is set for a sixth appearance at the PDC World Darts Championship in December after doubling up at the Philippines Qualifier on Saturday.

The finalists would qualify for the World Cup of Darts with both 'The Gunner' and Paolo Nebrida set to team in Jena but then they would play a final to decide who would book a spot at the Alexandra Palace.

He initially made it through the group stage to face Mark Opada winning 6-2 in the Quarter-Finals. Following that, he saw off Ian Perez 2-1 in sets with Nebrida winning the other semi-final and it was Ilagan who defeated his new partner in the World Cup 3-1 to claim his spot.
