Luke Littler left fuming as mother is barged by spectator during Premier League Darts walk-on

Luke Littler was in action yesterday on Night Four of the 2025 Premier League Darts. 'The Nuke' reached the final in Exeter, but went down 6-4 against Luke Humphries. Remarkably, it was the first time Littler had fallen yo defeat against Humphries in the Premier League Darts. A little earlier in the night though, one incident seemed to get the teenage world champion more than a little irked.

Littler impressed again in Exeter, beating Stephen Bunting 6-3 in the quarterfinals. In that match, Littler recorded a great average of 112.34, hitting 180s with consummate esse. However, the run-up to that game was rather chaotic. As Littler was making his walk-on to the oche, someone from the crowd seemed to push him when he went to hug his mother, who was standing in the audience.

It seems, in their excitement at trying to get a closer look at Littler, the fan had actually barged past the 18-year-old's mother. Understandably, neither Littler himself nor his mother looked best impressed by what had just happened.

The Nuke gave a stern look back at the person before reluctantly walking up the stairs and taking to the stage for his match with Bunting. Once he was on stage, he looked at his mother several more times.

But as mentioned earlier, it did not hinder Littler from playing a great match against Bunting. After his victory in the quarterfinals, Littler steamed on to set a particularly high average in the semifinals as well. With 109.67 he was 6-2 too strong for Nathan Aspinall. In the standings, Littler is second, seven points off the provisionally unchallenged leader Humphries.

In the final, however, things went wrong for Littler, who came up against a very strong Humphries. Littler has little time to dwell on this defeat, however; today he is already back in action at the UK Open, where as the second seed he will start in the fourth round. Who his opponent will be in that is still unknown for now.
