The most decisive weeks of the darts season are here. For the sport’s elite, November brings two major ranking tournaments — both offering significant prize money and crucial opportunities to climb the world rankings.
By the end of the month, the full lineup for the 2025 World Darts Championship will be confirmed. November also features the final qualifying events for the sport’s biggest stage at Alexandra Palace.

November 4–7: PDC Europe Super League

The PDC Europe Super League is the ultimate battleground for players from German-speaking nations, with a coveted World Championship spot awaiting the champion. Twenty-four participants are split into six groups, with the top four from each advancing to the last 16.
The group stage takes place on November 4–5, with play beginning daily at 12:30 p.m.. By Wednesday night, the 16 last-16 contenders will be confirmed. The knockout stage starts on Thursday at 4 p.m., followed by the quarter-finals on Friday, November 7, at 7 p.m.
All matches are played over the best of 11 legs, except the final, which is contested best of 15 legs. The first player to reach eight legs will seal their ticket to Ally Pally.

November 8–16: Grand Slam of Darts

One of the month’s standout events is the Grand Slam of Darts — one of the PDC’s premier televised majors. Qualification for this tournament is unique: players cannot qualify via the world or Pro Tour rankings, but only through their performances in other major events.
Sixteen places are reserved for major finalists, followed by winners of European Tour events. Any remaining spots are filled by players with the most Players Championship titles.
Further qualification routes include the World Youth Championship finalists, the Challenge Tour, Development Tour, and Women’s Series winners, as well as champions from the Women’s World Matchplay, CDC Continental Cup, and PDC Asian Championship.
The final eight places are decided through a Tour Card Holder Qualifier, giving unqualified professionals one last shot at the event in Wolverhampton.
In 2024, Luke Littler captured his first major title in spectacular fashion. The 17-year-old sensation demolished Martin Lukeman 16–3 in the final, winning 15 consecutive legs on his way to lifting the Eric Bristow Trophy — named in honour of the late five-time world champion who, ironically, never played in the Grand Slam himself. Littler returns this year as the defending champion.

November 14: PDO Polish Qualifier

The Polish Qualifier takes place on Friday, November 14. While Krzysztof Ratajski and Sebastian Białecki have already secured World Championship spots, other Polish hopefuls such as Tytus Kanik and Krzysztof Kciuk will be aiming to join them at Alexandra Palace.

November 15: PDCE Netherlands & Belgium Qualifier

A guaranteed extra Dutch or Belgian name will be added to the Ally Pally lineup after the Netherlands & Belgium Qualifier, held on Saturday, November 15, at De Maaspoort in Den Bosch. Former Tour Card holders such as Jeffrey de Zwaan, Ronny Huybrechts, and Vincent van der Voort are among the possible participants.

November 15: South-East Europe Qualifier

The South-East Europe Qualifier takes place in Nové Zámky, Slovakia, and is open to players from across the region — including Croatia, Greece, Serbia, Romania, and more.
Players from Russia and Belarus may only enter under special conditions approved in advance by the PDC.
Expect familiar names such as John Michael and Croatian stars Boris Krčmar and Romeo Grbavac to feature. Michael has appeared four times at Alexandra Palace, while both Krčmar and Grbavac are also former World Championship participants.

November 15–16: PDCE Czechia Qualifier

The PDC continues to expand its presence in Eastern Europe. Alongside the Polish event, Czech players will have their own opportunity to qualify through the PDCE Czechia Qualifier, held across November 15–16. One place at the World Championship will be up for grabs.

November 16: Steel Darts Japan Tour Finals

Japan’s best have battled it out across twelve events on the Steel Darts Japan Tour this season. Familiar faces such as Seigo Asada, Keita Ono, and Tomoya Goto have claimed titles, but the top 32 from the tour standings progress to the Finals on November 16 — where one World Championship berth awaits the winner.

November 16: PDCE Mediterranean Qualifier

The Mediterranean Qualifier will be held on Sunday, November 16, in Segovia, Spain, at the Hotel Restaurante El Rancho de la Aldegüela. Eligible players hail from Andorra, France, Gibraltar, Italy, Malta, Monaco, Portugal, San Marino, and Spain.
Former Tour Card holder Cristo Reyes — a 2015 World Championship last-16 finisher — is among the notable entrants.

November 21–23: Players Championship Finals

The final major before the World Championship — and the last chance for players to fine-tune their form.
The top 64 players from the Players Championship Order of Merit will battle it out in Minehead. Luke Humphries remains unbeaten in this event since 2022, having defeated Michael van Gerwen 11–9 in 2023 and Luke Littler 11–7 in 2024 to retain his crown.
Remarkably, Van Gerwen misses out this year after failing to earn enough prize money to make the top 64.

November 22: ANZ Premier League Playoffs

The inaugural ANZ Premier League concludes on November 22, featuring the top four players from Australia and New Zealand. After seven rounds of knockout action, they’ll compete in the playoffs for the title — and a World Championship place.

November 23: PDC World Youth Championship Final

As tradition dictates, the World Youth Championship Final precedes the Players Championship Finals.
This year’s matchup is historic: Gian van Veen reaches the final for a record third straight year, this time facing Beau Greaves, the first woman ever to contest the junior world title.
Greaves denied a repeat of last year’s Van Veen–Littler showdown by edging Luke Littler 6–5 in a thrilling semi-final.

November 24: Tour Card Holders’ Qualifier & World Championship Draw

The final qualifying event for the World Darts Championship takes place on November 24, as Tour Card holders compete for the last five available spots at Ally Pally.
Later that evening comes one of the most anticipated moments of the season — the World Darts Championship Draw. Once the draw is made, the path to the world title will be revealed, and the countdown to darts’ greatest spectacle officially begins.
