Luke Littler is the first leader on the inaugural PDC European Tour Order of Merit. “The Nuke” sealed the title on Sunday evening at the Poland Darts Open, and by winning the first Euro Tour event of 2026 he automatically tops the rankings.
Once again there was no stopping Littler, who had already won the world title this season and taken first place at the Saudi Arabia Darts Masters and the Winmau World Masters. On Saturday, Littler dished out a heavy defeat to Mike De Decker in his opener, beating the Belgian 6-1 thanks to a 113.84 average and a 100 percent checkout rate.
Littler then fell 2-0 behind in his second match against Ross Smith, but the Englishman didn’t panic and beat his compatriot 6-2. With comfortable wins over Josh Rock (6-1) and Chris Dobey (7-3), Littler then powered convincingly into the final.
In the final, Gian van Veen was the opponent after the Dutchman defeated Andrew Gilding (6-5), Nathan Aspinall (6-5), Wessel Nijman (6-2) and Luke Humphries (7-5) in succession. Van Veen moved 3-2 ahead in the final thanks to a nine-darter, but the win ultimately went comfortably to Littler by 8-4.
By winning the Poland Darts Open, Littler pockets the top prize of £35,000. As a result, the world number one is already virtually assured of a place at the European Championship in Dortmund in October after just one of the fifteen Euro Tour events.

Boost for Smith, Reyes makes superb return

Van Veen also enjoyed a lucrative weekend with a total of £15,000 in prize money. Michael Smith earned £8,000 with his quarter-final run, taking his total to £12,000 as he had already qualified for Euro Tour 3 & 4 via the Tour Card qualifiers. Chris Dobey and Luke Humphries both reached the semi-finals, banking £10,000 each.

Cristo Reyes made a superb return to the Euro Tour with a last-16 berth. The Spaniard collected £5,000 this weekend, while “The Spartan” will also play the next two Euro Tours. Josh Rock, Stephen Bunting, Wessel Nijman and Boris Krcmar currently round out the top 10.
Later this year, more Euro Tour events will take place in Germany, Belgium, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Switzerland and the Netherlands. After fifteen Euro Tours, the top 32 players on the PDC European Tour Order of Merit will compete at the European Championship.
