Poland Darts Open Tournament Centre
The 2026 Poland Darts Open is the first tournament on this year's European Tour and takes place at Expo Krakow between 20-22 February 2026.
It is the first of fifteen European Tour events on the 2026 PDC ProTour and is the first European Tour event to be held in Poland after the World Series was dropped.
It will feature a field of 48 players led by Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, Gian van Veen, and Gerwyn Price, among others. Ahead of a busy period in which many could skip a lot of tournaments, it could be the only time to see all the top names in one place on the European Tour.

The schedule is usually confirmed on the day the draw, but ordinarily sees the Qualifiers play the ProTour names before the top 16 enter the draw the day after.

Predictions

Samuel Gill, Head Editor of DartsNews.com, sees Gary Anderson winning the title.
Gary Anderson always seems to crop up and win one then barely plays for the rest of the year apart from the ones that are easy to get to and I see the same here.
Anderson for the title for me followed by Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, and Gerwyn Price. A bit cliche but all are very likely.
I also see Michael van Gerwen as a big favourite, given his recent form, while Nathan Aspinall cannot be counted out. Alongside Danny Noppert, they will want to prove a point, and Aspinall was the best player on the European Tour at the back end of 2025. So I struggle to see past those names.

* Gerwyn Price, Michael van Gerwen, Nathan Aspinall, Danny Noppert
Mats Leering, Editor for DartsNieuws.com, has Gerwyn Price as his favourite.
The Poland Darts Masters is the first European Tour tournament of the year, so everyone will want to make their mark right away. In my opinion, there are a number of players who are in very good form and therefore have the best chance of winning the title.
My favourite is Gerwyn Price. 'The Iceman' showed during the Players Championship 2 that he is in top form, recording a 100+ average in 6 of his 7 matches. However, he lost to Dutchman Wessel Nijman in the final. But if he can maintain this level in Poland, I expect the Welshman to walk away with the title.
Wessel Nijman managed to beat him, and I expect him to do well here too. He has already won four floor tournaments and is still waiting for his first television title. This could well happen in Poland.
Nathan Aspinall always does well on the Euro Tour and is also among the contenders for the title. And I have a feeling that James Wade could do surprisingly well here too.
Then, of course, there are Luke Littler, Luke Humphries and Gian van Veen, who are always among the favourites. I see Gary Anderson, Ryan Searle and perhaps even Luke Woodhouse as outsiders.

Lucas Michael, Editor for DartsNews.com, sees Gian van Veen scooping the title.
The return of the Euro Tour is finally upon us! Krakow is set to host the first event of the year with a bang. Many players will be looking to get out of the blocks quicky but only one name can be etched on the trophy.
A lot of the big names will be in action as they look to get on the front foot with a title or a deep run. This is certainly the case for many of the Premier League players who will not be competing at all of these events. Luke Littler is the prime candidate for this and continues to look unbeatable on stage.
The shorter format utilised on the Euro Tour could prevent him from taking glory, with a very strong field ready to take the challenge to the reigning world champion.
Gian van Veen (3)
Gian van Veen to win the title?
Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price will all be very strong candidates for the title. You cannot write off last year’s number one in Europe, Nathan Aspinall, from continuing his impressive form in Europe. I can also see James Wade and Danny Noppert continuing their fine displays on the big stage.
However, for the title I am going to edge Gian van Veen to clinch first Euro Tour success, with a few surprising names going deep.

* Gerwyn Price, Luke Humphries, James Wade
Nicolas Gayer, Editor of DartsNews.DE, sees Gerwyn Price also leading the way.
The European Tour returns with a bang next weekend: for the first time in the history of the successful tournament series, the Poland Darts Open will be staged in Krakow.
From a sporting perspective, I also expect the European Tour to make a high-class comeback, with one player, in my opinion, leading the way: Gerwyn Price. “The Iceman” appears to be in the best early-season form I can remember. Price impressed not only at the start of the floor season, where he swept aside Michael van Gerwen 6–0 with a staggering 117 average, but also on night two of the Premier League Darts, where he claimed victory in Antwerp. Price has repeatedly shown that he performs at his best when he can move from tournament to tournament in full flow, building rhythm through regular match practice. Following a strong showing at The Masters, deep runs on the floor, and a nightly win in the Premier League, all the ingredients are there, in my view, for another European Tour triumph for the Welshman.
The second major title favourite needs little introduction: Luke Littler. Alongside “The Nuke,” I also expect a strong European Tour start to the season from Wessel Nijman, who I believe will increasingly translate his outstanding floor form onto the stage this year — with the European Tour playing a key role in that transition.
To conclude, I’d like to highlight two more players whom I expect to make headlines with strong results over the coming season. Luke Woodhouse has been one of the PDC Tour’s most consistent risers for some time, elevating his game to a new level last year and looking increasingly likely to capture his maiden title sooner rather than later. And finally: the Polish Eagle, Krzysztof Ratajski. For a while — largely due to health issues — things were relatively quiet around the most successful Polish player in PDC history. But now he is back — and in style. Already at the PDC World Darts Championship, Ratajski impressed with strong performances and a run to the quarter-finals. He immediately backed that up at the season’s second Players Championship event with a semi-final appearance and multiple 100+ averages, underlining just how dangerous he can be.
***Gerwyn Price
**Luke Littler, Wessel Nijman
*Gian van Veen, Krzysztof Ratajski, Luke Woodhouse
Pieter Verbeek, Editor of DartsNieuws.com, sees Luke Littler pencilled in but not plain sailing.
It is always nice when the European Tour season gets underway. It guarantees quality entertainment throughout the weekends and offers a refreshing change of scenery, with different names stepping into the spotlight instead of the familiar cast that dominates the televised majors.
This marks the first time the PDC stages a European Tour event in Poland, and whenever a tournament is held for the very first time, you might as well pencil in Luke Littler straight away. “The Nuke” has already shown that he thrives on big occasions and fresh stages, and he will be more than motivated to engrave his name at the top of yet another inaugural honour roll.
That said, Littler will face serious resistance in Kraków. The entire world elite is present for the opening European Tour event of the year. Players such as Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen, Gian van Veen and Gerwyn Price are more than capable of taking down Littler in the shorter race format that defines these weekends. And it would be unwise to overlook seasoned operators like Gary Anderson, James Wade and Nathan Aspinall, all of whom know exactly how to navigate a quick-fire format.
I am also particularly looking forward to seeing Cristo Reyes back on the European Tour stage. The Spaniard has returned to the PDC circuit after four years away and has already produced several eye-catching averages in recent weeks. With a favourable draw, Reyes certainly has the quality to make a deep run and reach finals day.
