PDC Women's Series 3 and 4 Round-Up | 17 consecutive titles for Beau Greaves, ends with another Ashton final win

The PDC Women's Series continues on Sunday with the top women's stars continuing in their quest to dethrone Beau Greaves at the top of the sport after another imperious day from Beau N Arrow.

Greaves who will play her first two days plus European Tour qualifiers on Monday - Wednesday on the ProTour admitted herself that she isn't sure how much she will play this season due to the dilemma of the tournaments often being in the same place but also what her schedule could look like.

But as it is, she has won 100 straight games on the Women's Series and will look for more history again today. She leads a field that also features such players as Lisa Ashton who reached both finals on the opening day of action losing both to Greaves.

While Fallon Sherrock, Noa-Lynn van Leuven, Gemma Hayter among others are the leading lights also on the tour. All three having varying degrees of success on day one.

The prizes on offer include spots at the Women's World Matchplay which is done on a year rolling system from July when the event takes place until the following season so it is well underway. While the PDC World Darts Championship and Grand Slam of Darts offers a multitude of spots. Unlike the Challenge Tour or Development Tour, there are no Tour Cards for the champion. All action is on PDCTV or DartConnect with two tournaments on Sunday.

Beau Greaves has made it 17 titles in a row winning Women's Series Event Four and heads onto the ProTour tomorrow very much at the top of her game.

For the third final out of four this weekend, it was Lisa Ashton she eased past winning in a whitewash. A good sign though for The Lancashire Rose in her quest to qualify for every tournament that the Women's Series has to offer especially if Greaves does so through the main ProTour in her debut year.

Greaves took down Angela irkwood, Fallon Sherrock, Trina Gulliver and Girley Peters in the latter stages and completes an incredible weekend in the process.

Beau Greaves continues to be the thorn in the side of the rest of the field at the PDC Women's Series, kind of like Fallon Sherrock; her final opponent was in the early days of the tournaments.

No player seems to be able to get close to her as the new PDC Tour Card holder made it 16 consecutive titles and 107 matches in a row won.

She has shattered her own records multiple times and continues to add to them as she defeated Sherrock 5-1 to seal the title as we head into the final event of the weekend here in Hildesheim.

She defeated Deta Hedman 5-0, Lisa Ashton 5-1, and Kim Holden 4-1, with Gemma Hayter one player who got the closest, albeit still a 4-2 loss for the latter.

Sherrock had edged past Denise Cassidy, Jade Gofford, and Janine Gough in the latter stage,s and it is very much Greaves vs the rest still here.
