Nathan Aspinall could win yet another title today which could be his third of the season on the Players Championship series. This comes after a 6-2 win over the player to beat for many over the past two days Peter Wright.
He will take on Dave Chisnall next who hit a 102 average and dispelled the charge of the Dutch Giant, Martijn Kleermaker in a 6-2 win as the St Helens ace aims to return to the winners' circle.
Ryan Joyce could be there for the first time as he edged past Glen Durrant in a 6-5 win as Newcastle won over Middlesbrough in a closely fought tie between the former BDO Gold Cup winner and the three time Lakeside World Champion.
His next task though today will be Gary Anderson who won in a 6-4 win over Jonny Clayton averaging 95 in the process as he looks to join Michael van Gerwen in winning a PDC Summer Series so far.
