Results PDC Summer Series – Day Two, Last 16: Wright, Anderson and Durrant all into Quarter-Finals in Milton Keynes

The Quarter-Final line-up has been confirmed on the second day of action in the PDC Summer Series as Players Championship 10 begins to come towards its conclusion. Among those still involved include Peter Wright, Gary Anderson and Glen Durrant.

Wright who came runner-up yesterday won't have to deal with Michael van Gerwen today after the World Number One bowed out and he has continued his stunning form to win through dispatching Jermaine Wattimena 6-2 with a 102.3 average. He will take on Nathan Aspinall who defeated James Wade.

Anderson faced off against Gabriel Clemens and eased through a 6-1 winner over the in-form German Giant. He holds history of winning in this venue including over the German in a final, can he go all the way today?

He will next take on Jonny Clayton after he dealt with Martin Atkins (Wigan) who was having an excellent run under the radar.

Durrant though was one of the players of the round dealing with Niels Zonneveld 6-1 with a 107 average, a Middlesbrough vs Newcastle tie awaits but not against Chris Dobey, as he takes on 'Relentless' Ryan Joyce.

Dave Chisnall will face Martijn Kleermaker in the final Quarter-Final after he dealt with the vanquisher of Michael van Gerwen in Maik Kuivenhoven.
