Results Players Championship 6, Last 32: Van Gerwen edges past Anderson, White and Petersen continue brilliant form

The results are confirmed from the Round of 32 at Players Championship 6 with Michael van Gerwen winning his battle against Gary Anderson.

Van Gerwen has now won seven consecutive matches against his rival coming through in a 6-4 win with a 96.5 average as he continues his search for his first Players Championship title of the season.

Another player who is searching for his first Players Championship title of the season is Ian White. 'Diamond' impressed last round with a 113 average after starting the day with a 105, he continues to hit the big ton plus averages this time with a 109 average against Gary Blades.

Devon Petersen reached the semi-finals yesterday losing to eventual winner Peter Wright and he looks to be a man transformed.

'The African Warrior' continued his run today by defeating Glen Durrant in a 6-4 win with a 104.6 average. Can the popular South African go all the way today?

Other good performances came from Adrian Lewis with 102.7 during a 6-4 win over Scott Waites and Gerwyn Price continues to go about his business again averaging 101.3 against Simon Stevenson.
