At the
Nordic Darts Masters, part of the
World Series of Darts, we have now reached the quarter-finals.
Friday night the first round was finished and there were hardly any surprises. All seeded players won their matches, except Peter Wright, who surprisingly lost 6-5 against Swedish Johan Engström.
That ensures we have a number of duels to look forward to in the quarterfinals. The evening in Copenhagen begins with the match between Gerwyn Price and Dimitri Van den Bergh. The 29-year-old Belgian won the tournament in 2022, Price lost to Wright in last year's final.

This amount increases further upon winning matches. The losing finalist collects a check for 10,000 pounds, while the winner of the Nordic Darts Masters gets to take home the top prize of 20,000 pounds. By the way, the money does not count toward the PDC Order of Merit.
However, points can be taken for the World Series Order of Merit. All participants in a World Series tournament are guaranteed one point for the World Series Order of Merit.
