The third day of action is complete at the MODUS Icons of Darts League with the standings now updated as a result of David Evans claiming the latest Group Win.
Evans is now up to second in the table just behind Wessel Nijman after defeating Andy Jenkins (5-0), Nijman (5-4) and Mark Webster (5-1) with a 5-3 defeat to Raymond van Barneveld interspersed in between.
He now sits on 16 points compared to 18 for the aforementioned Dutchman. Andy Jenkins after only two days and having only played 8 games sits in third well ahead of Paul Nicholson who is on six points and took the day off today.
Mark Webster and Raymond van Barneveld finish off the table with the latter in last by leg difference having played four more games than the former ahead of him.

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
