Substantial German representation at UK Open sets record at PDC major

The 2024 UK Open will be played in Minehead from March 1 to March 3. All PDC Tour Card holders may participate in this tournament. The field of participants will be supplemented by qualifiers.

This year a record number of German players are competing in the 'FA Cup of Darts'. As many as eleven Germans have qualified, never before have so many German players qualified for a major tournament at the PDC.

Gabriel Clemens, Martin Schindler, Ricardo Pietreczko, Florian Hempel, Pascal Rupprecht, Daniel Klose, Tim Wolters, Lukas Wenig and Paul Krohne are the nine German Tour Card holders at the UK Open, while Dominik Grüllich and Christopher Toonders have also qualified.
