After four difficult—and above all nerve-racking—days at
Q-School 2026,
Pascal Rupprecht has reclaimed his PDC Tour Card. The German had to wait until the very last moment, but could finally breathe a sigh of relief when he got over the finishing line.
“It was a difficult two days,”
he admitted candidly. “I didn’t have a single point after Thursday and Friday because I just didn’t play well enough. But in the end it was enough. And I’m incredibly happy about that.”
The final day was all about hoping, calculating, and waiting for Rupprecht. His earlier results gave little reassurance, which only increased the pressure. “It was very close,” he acknowledged. “You’re basically just hoping the result falls your way.” That’s what happened, helped by other match results going in his favour. “There were a lot of people today hoping I would make it,” Rupprecht said. “Because my result could also help other players.”
For the German, this Tour Card feels different from his first. Rupprecht had previously competed on the PDC ProTour but lost his card. He now takes that experience into his second chance. “The big advantage is that not everything is new to me,” he explained. “I now know how everything works, what life on Tour looks like, and what’s expected of you. That keeps me calmer than last time.”
That calm is crucial for making progress, according to Rupprecht. Where his first spell on Tour was mainly about learning and adapting, he now hopes to play with more composure and clarity. “I think that experience is really going to help me,” he said. “You step on stage differently when you know what’s coming.”
Relief dominated afterward, but Rupprecht was already looking ahead. “I’m really looking forward to it again,” he said. “Hopefully everything goes well in the coming years.”
