Alan Warriner-Little has publicly reacted to his absence from ITV’s newly announced darts broadcast team, saying he was not informed about the decision despite two decades of service.
“It would have be nice/professional after 20 years service with ITV to at least be told I have been thrown in the gutter. Good Luck to everyone. #VeryPoor I shall be from this point reviewing everything I do.”
A long-running part of ITV darts
Warriner-Little has been part of ITV’s darts coverage, working across major tournaments including the UK Open, European Championship,
World Series events and the Players Championship Finals, operating as a knowledgeable pundit with clear insight into how top darters operate from his own time as the PDC world number one during his playing days.
His absence from the newly announced team places him among several familiar names no longer listed, including Ned Boulting, Stuart Pyke and Jacqui Oatley.
The updated ITV darts coverage will begin with the
Bahrain Darts Masters and Saudi Arabia Darts Masters, before continuing across ITV’s slate of PDC events under the new broadcast deal that runs until at least 2028.

New team confirmed for 2026
The refreshed line-up includes new presenters, updated punditry led by Wayne Mardle, and a commentary team headed by Dan Dawson, with Mark Wilson and Ian Danter also involved. Several established faces such as Mark Webster and Chris Mason remain part of the coverage.
Neither ITV nor the PDC has commented publicly on individual departures, with the focus of the announcement centred on the new broadcast team and upcoming events.
Warriner-Little’s post stands as the only public reaction so far from those not included in the new line-up. Beyond wishing “good luck to everyone,” he did not indicate what his next steps will be, other than saying he will now be “reviewing everything” he does going forward.
