The top 16 seeded players enter the competition in Saturday’s second round. The tournament concludes on Sunday, featuring third-round matches in the afternoon, followed by the quarterfinals, semifinals, and the grand final in the evening session.
This year’s edition promises high-level action, even in the absence of several of the sport’s biggest names. World number one Luke Humphries, reigning World Champion Luke Littler, three-time World Champion Michael van Gerwen, former titleholder Rob Cross, and two-time World Champion Gary Anderson will all be skipping the event.
Still, the field remains stacked with top-tier talent. Big names like Jonny Clayton, Stephen Bunting, Gerwyn Price, Nathan Aspinall, James Wade, Peter Wright, Danny Noppert, Mike de Decker, and Josh Rock are all confirmed to compete, ensuring plenty of excitement for fans throughout the weekend.
The Austrian Darts Open holds a special place in PDC history as the inaugural event of the European Tour. Justin Pipe made history by winning the very first Euro Tour tournament back in 2012. Since then, several legendary names have left their mark in Graz. Dutch stars Michael van Gerwen (2013, 2017, 2019, 2022) and Vincent van der Voort (2014) brought early success for the Netherlands, while Phil Taylor lifted the trophy in 2016. Jonny Clayton has enjoyed repeated triumphs here, taking titles in both 2018 and 2023, and Luke Littler emerged victorious in last year’s edition in 2024.
With a rich history and a fiercely competitive lineup, the 2025 Austrian Darts Open is set to deliver another unforgettable weekend of world-class darts in Graz.
