Van Peer finally overcomes Clayton: "The third time today luckily the charm"

After Berry van Peer defeated last week's European Tour winner Jonny Clayton in Leeuwarden at the Dutch Darts Championship on Saturday, he revealed his delight at having finally overcome the Welshman.
"In the beginning, however, it didn't go well, I played very inconsistently and irritated myself," Van Peer opens to Darts Actueel. "I lost to Jonny twice in the past few weeks, so luckily three times today was a charm."

In the eighth finals, Van Peer will face Heta, both players are known for their extravagant 'walk-ons'. "We are going to really drive the audience crazy, it will be fun," concludes Van Peer.
