Defending champion Suljovic edges out Cross in opening clash at Champions League of Darts

Mensur Suljovic, the defending champion at the Champions League of Darts has claimed the opening win in the tournament as he edged out Rob Cross in a tight clash.

Cross was 4-2 up but when Suljovic came back into the clash, it was close until the very end.
The turning point could have been the break at 5-4 down with Suljovic hitting the bull in a 81 combination.
For ‘The Gentle’ though he has firmly set out his stall in Group B and will be wanting to continue his unbeaten run in the tournament.
