Smith-Neale stuns Durrant to win Winmau World Masters title

Once again the Winmau World Masters has a surprising winner. The victory went to Adam Smith-Neale, who beat Glen Durrant in the final.

Smith-Neale completed a successful week, after beating Daniel Day, Mark McGeeney and Wayne Warren earlier at the Winmau World Masters. The 24-year-old will now make his debut at the BDO World Championship in January.
Durrant had a 4-3 lead in the final and had two darts to make it 5-3. However, Duzza missed on double 18 and double 9. His compatriot hit the double and made it 4-4 in an exciting contest. Smith-Neale took over the momentum from the two-time Lakeside champion and hit tops in the tenth set to claim the title.
Lisa Ashton won her second Winmau World Masters title after defeating Casey Gallagher 5-2 in the final.
All matches were streamed on Winmau TV.
