Updated PDC Order of Merit: Noppert moves into top 64, White back in top ten

The latest double header of Players Championship action has seen the PDC Order of Merit be updated.
Danny Noppert the second winner in the two days of action has moved up. He is of course a new Tour Card holder and is into the top 64.
This is at the expense of for example Devon Petersen who falls closer to the drop zone. Ian White who lost in yesterday’s final also rose going back into the top ten for the first time in a while.
This with potentially a few more decent TV runs could put him in the Premier League reckoning.

- Maybe the supposed top players are burnt out from the endless travelling and tournaments, I just don't think they have the dedication or outright desire to win. I think they are more interested in the money and being popular, just keeping their rankings steady. The only thing that mattered to Phil Taylor was winning, not winning a few games to top up the money pot and seeking the fans attention. Maybe there is too many tournaments now and the enthusiasm is gone. This year especially has seen so many different winners and unexpected draws and line ups.richieburnettrocks14-11-2024
