Ashton will now face Mikuru Suzuki in the final as the current champion and the four time champion collide and 'The Lancashire Rose' admitted that there are still some parts of her game that she needs to correct and that she knows she has to play her A-game in the next match.
"Me and Corrine have some really good games but I just focused on my game for that one," said Ashton to BDO Darts.
"She can play better than that but all I do is focus on my own score and play my own game. I knew she was playing then not playing, she was missing one or two so I took my chances and played my game."
"I've raised it a bit there but I still have a few tweaks to bring my A-game out whoever I'm going to play. But hopefully when I'm back tomorrow I'm going to play my A-game."
"One step closer to getting my fifth but I'm just happy to get into the final. I know I've got to raise my levels and play like I can."
