Williams speaks after convincing victory over Hogan to reach 2020 BDO World Championship Semi-Finals: "I'm thrilled to bits"

Hogan was brilliant throughout the tournament but was poor against Williams and he admitted that he was expecting more from him and so was nervous throughout the day as a result but in the end he was just pleased to get the win.

"It's great, I would have taken that at the start of the day. I'm thrilled to bits," said Williams to BDO Darts.

"I think because he's been playing so well I've been nervous all day, just all the way through it was a battle but it was one of them games, you've just got to try and get through it."

"He's been around, he's got so much experience. It was a difficult game, I think I was waiting for him to kick in and he was waiting for me and it just doesn't happen sometimes."
