Dean Winstanley sets up Go Fund Me page to raise more prize money for youth finalists at World Masters

The youth players at the BDO World Masters had to pay £10 to enter the boys and girls events, but now it appears that the finalists have not been rewarded with a huge prize money cheque.

Keane Barry and Katie Sheldon claimed the youth titles on Friday at the BDO World Masters. For this, they were presented with a trophy, just like players who lost in the semi-finals and quarter-finals.

Former Lakeside finalist Dean Winstanley decided to help the youth players and started a Go Fund Me page to raise money for the finalists. Winstanley, who also reached the World Masters final in 2011, hopes to raise at least £1000 to give the champions and runners up something they can use to help better their career opportunities
