Trina Gulliver MBE has withdrawn from the 2020 BDO World Championship due to ill health, it has been revealed.
Gulliver MBE had participated in every World Championship since the inaugural event in 2001; however has decided to withdraw. This comes after a tough season at times which has seen 'The Golden Girl' only just get into the tournament.
Tori Kewish has been invited as a result to participate as the next player in the Ladies BDO ranking table at the cut off.
Kewish who is well known in Australia as winning seven BDO ranking events and has also previously also played soft tip darts will face Beau Greaves as a result on Saturday January 4th.
