Jim Williams is through to the 2020 BDO World Championship final after defeating Mario Vandenbogaerde and he has set up an all-Welsh final with Wayne Warren.
Williams said afterwards that he has got through to this point by mainly playing his B game but he hopes now that he can use his extra reserves to get through against a player he says he has grown up watching.
Despite that for 'The Quiff' says that it has gone to plan for him this week and now he just wants to play his own game.
"It's great, you try so hard for so long. I'm over the moon," said Williams to BDO Darts.
"It wasn't a great performance again but I say my B game all week has got me through. Just hoping what's left in the tank comes out."
"I've grown up in awe of Wayne (Warren) so to play him on the biggest game of my life is fantastic."
"Today was a little bit difficult. Wayne had won before I'd got here tonight so everyone was like come on boys it'd be so nice for you to get into the final. I've dreamt of that, the script has just gone perfectly this week."
"I just need to play a solid game, you've just got to dig in and do your best. I've got to just sit back and go when I'm ready because every three darts is massive."
