11-year old prospect stars as part of Derbyshire team hitting 81 average

There is a new star in the making in Derbyshire darts with Henry Coates firing in an 81.99 average boasting the second highest of the day while taking part in a county games against Berkshire.

In this victory he whitewashed Robert Bowers 3-0 as Derbyshire ended up winning 8-4 overall and this even caught the eye of PDC ranking event winner Jamie Caven. He tweeted about the Derbyshire ace who is just 11 years old.
Caven runs the academy that Coates belongs to and he was previously the Champion of Champions as part of it hitting a 180 and a 14 darter to win that title.
He also competes on the JDC circuit to further improve his development and due to this is definitely one to watch in the coming years.
